Ikirun College of Health Technology (ICHT), Ikirun, Osun State, has commenced admission into its various National Diploma (ND) programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session, inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply.
The announcement was made by the Registrar of the institution, Mr. Adeniyi Abdullah Adeoye in a statement on Monday, June 1, 2026.
He said the college is committed to maintaining high academic and professional standards in the training of health personnel capable of contributing meaningfully to Nigeria's healthcare sector.
He disclosed that the institution is a privately owned college and licensed by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and accredited by the Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN) and other relevant regulatory bodies.
He added that the admission exercise is part of its commitment to producing competent health professionals through quality training, practical exposure and community-oriented healthcare education.
According to a statement issued by the college management, candidates who selected Ikirun College of Health Technology as their first-choice institution on the 2026/2027 JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and scored at least 100 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are eligible to apply.
The college also disclosed that candidates who did not initially choose the institution but are willing to make a change of institution through the JAMB CAPS portal may apply, provided they meet the minimum UTME requirements.
He said, "Available programmes for the new academic session include National Diploma in Community Health Technology, Public Health Technology, Health Education and Promotion, and Health Information Management.
"To apply, prospective students are required to visit the institution's admission portal at https://ikirunhealthtech.edu.ng/application/register to complete the online application process. Applicants may also visit the admission office physically for assistance.
"Candidates must carefully complete their personal and academic information and upload all required credentials before submitting their applications.
"Also, a non-refundable application fee of N10,000, excluding portal processing charges, is payable by all applicants."
Mr. Adeniyi Abdullah Adeoye explained that successful candidates would receive admission notifications through both the institution's admission portal and the JAMB CAPS platform, while admitted students must formally accept their admission offers on JAMB CAPS to secure their placements.
On admission requirements, the institution said applicants must possess a minimum of five credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Health Science, Chemistry and Physics, obtained in WAEC, NECO or NABTEB examinations in not more than two sittings.
It also stressed that candidates must have participated in the UTME and attained the approved minimum score, while all applicants must be at least 16 years old at the time of admission.
