Ikirun College of Health Technology has formally admitted 507 students into various academic programmes at its Second Matriculation Ceremony held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the college premises.

The colourful event, attended by dignitaries including the founder of University of Offa, Dr. Abdulrasaq Omoniyi Oyewale; Chairman of Medical Association of Nigeria, Ifelodun LGA Branch, Mr. Fawole Adekunle; parents; traditional leaders; and members of the host community, marked another significant milestone in the steady growth of the institution.

The ceremony further reflected the college’s rising profile as a hub for quality health education in Osun State and beyond, as it continues to expand its academic influence and strengthen its commitment to excellence in health training.

Rector's Charge to Students

Speaking at the ceremony, the Rector/Chief Executive, Mr. Salaudeen Oyewale, charged the newly admitted students to remain focused and uphold the values of discipline and integrity throughout their academic journey.

“You are privileged to be part of this institution at a time when it is making remarkable progress. I urge you to shun all forms of social vices, avoid distractions and concentrate on your studies. Your success here will define your future and the impact you will make in the health sector.”

He reminded the students that academic success is built on discipline, hard work, and a strong sense of purpose, urging them to take full advantage of the opportunities available within the institution.

The Rector also used the occasion to highlight key achievements recorded by the college within a short period. According to him, the institution has made significant investments in staff development through regular training and retraining programmes, while also improving staff welfare to boost productivity.
