ADMISSION NOTICE: Ikirun College of Health Technology Announces Admission for 2025/2026 Academic Session

The Management of Ikirun College of Health Technology is pleased to announce that admission is now open for the 2025/2026 academic session. The institution invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for its accredited programs in Community Health Technology and Public Health Technology.

AVAILABLE PROGRAMMES

• Community Health Technology

This program is designed to prepare students to function effectively as community health practitioners. Students are trained to provide primary healthcare services, including health promotion, disease prevention, and basic treatment within communities. Emphasis is placed on practical experience and rural outreach to build capable frontline health workers.

• Public Health Technology

This programme focuses on population health, equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop, implement, and evaluate public health policies and programmes. The curriculum covers key areas such as epidemiology, environmental health, health education, and public health ethics, positioning graduates for roles in both governmental and non-governmental health agencies.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must possess:

• A minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant O'Level subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

• The required credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings from any of the following recognized examination bodies: WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB

• Candidates must be at least 16 years of age at the time of application.
